It's a Cheney Family Reunion.

Former Vice President Dick Cheney and family have hit the air waves defending their political history. I think they protest too much. Mr. Cheney has done three interviews: Politico, State of the Union with John King and Hannity on Fox News. His daughter Liz Cheney did an interview on MSNBC with Norah O’Donnell all singing to the same tune.

On releasing the torture memos it only weaken the United States by showing the enemy that we have limits. President Obama has not defended our country vigorously enough on the world stage, when verbally attacked.

What weakens the United States is when we can’t follow our own laws. We have specific laws that forbid torture, when we have an administration that uses undue influence on other branches of government that creates a fault with in our system. We show and get more respect from other nations when we don’t stand on our soap box and dictate policy to others.

The United States of America is an economic, military, cultural power on the world stage; we don’t need to prove it every second of every day to reassure ourselves or the rest of the world.
