Is it hot in here?

Is it hot in here?

Governor Sanford of South Carolina has returned from what can only be described as an “eventful” trip to Argentina. Bidding farewell to his mistress and saying hello to a scorned wife and an ever so watchful media.

Politics and sex are very common bed fellows, to say this is unusual event is really being na├»ve. Men and women alike are drawn to people in powerful positions, like moths to the flame they are attracted to individuals who are typically very charismatic. So, this isn’t the first time this has happen in our political history. What makes this case unique is that A) Governor Sanford had to go all the way to Argentina to find someone to sleep him; B) He was the guy that vehemently demanded that President Bill Clinton resign immediately after his affair was discovered (ahem). All in all a routine day in the state of affairs.

Espana, que paso? It looks like someone didn’t eat their Wheaties that day; Spain lost to the United States 2-0, in a run up to the World Cup. Considering the amount of flack the US soccer teams get on their lack of soccer skills, we’re going to relish this moment. Bfftftftftt, ha Espana te lo dijo!! Never underestimate your opponent.
