Last time on Sarah Palin

I made a promise that I wouldn’t blog about former Governor and former Vice Presidential Republican candidate Sarah Palin after the 2008 election was over. However it was conditional that she would leave the lower 48 and go back to Alaska. Since she hasn’t I can write this one blog about her.

Sarah Palin recently announced she is backing the third party conservative Doug Hoffman a candidate for a position in the NY 23rd, effectively slamming the door on the official GOP candidate Dede Scozzzafava. It appears she taking a page from the Democratic Party endorsing a person who is not high on the radar screen (similar to then Senator Obama). She also has her own Facebook Page and posted her resume on LinkedIn, making sure she stays connected to the public. Then of course her book is already number one on Amazon, even thought it hasn’t been published yet. By doing so she continues to maintain a presence on the political stage. It has yet to be determined if these actions can continue to give her the star power needed to stay relevant.

Sarah Palin believes she can achieve the highest office of the land by borrowing from other successful candidates. The realities are the acumen needed in order to become the nominee and then President is well beyond her reach.
