NASA Tweetup

So far all the speakers have been incredibly interesting. They are all amazingly funny smart geeks; the best kind of guys to send to space.

We had the project manger give his take on how the shuttle gets to the launch pad, and all the work it takes to put the mission together. Then @Astro_Mike talked about how he felt working in space he has flown in two shuttle missions. When asked if he had moments of being scared: his answer concerned maybe, not scared. We all tweeting and blogging while he’s talking, so he feels like he is talking to his kids; no really we are paying attention. Next up robotics….

From the Cape.
