Apparently my husband and I are engaging in an institution that will soon be obsolete.
More people now don’t believe in getting married, others prefer to wait until they’ve “DONE” everything in their personal and professional lives. Some look it as the cherry that goes on top. While others live together but don’t get married, but after a number of years depending on the state you live in, you’ll end up being a common law spouse. Or you’ll end up in a palimony suit (Clint Eastwood ring any bells).
I’m not a psychologist or psychiatrist nor do I pretend to be.
But when I hear about these studies, I laugh, I have to wonder over the last 50 years how many times did we hear that marriage is overrated.
Gimme a break these studies are over rated.
