I attended the #nasatweetup STS- 129 on November 15 and 16th 2009 at the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida.

Two years later I still speak in awe of seeing Atlantis launch into space. It was for me one of the top three professional events in my life. But for me to have been able to see that kind of technology in action I have to thank the people of NASA. Who have other full time jobs to do, add this to the mix without any complaint; at least not within earshot of the “twent” after all we are human. Heh.

As luck would have it I also attended the last early morning/ night launch of Discovery from Banana Creek.

Just goes to show you. Whether from 3.5 miles or 10 miles away, watching the sun rise twice is an amazing feat,

I urge the people who didn’t get into this #NASATWEETUP #STS135 to still go to Florida and watch the launch.

You won’t be disappointed..
