Many people believe the
Founding Father's would have been under the impression that weaponry never
would advanced beyond muskets.
When the opposite is true,
these men were well educated. The history of the Roman Army, Hannibal, and
Darius (Persian) would have been part of their lessons. Current wars in Europe,
battles in then Spain 's
colonies, would have been talked about in their current political climate.
The costs, of arms and gun
powder were expensive during the Revolutionary War, but afterwards there wasn't
nearly a demand so the cost went down.
So, before Michael Moore or
anybody else makes another comment that the Founding Father's wouldn't have
thunk it.
Think again.
